Welcome to Palm Springs!

An oasis in the arid heart of the Southern California desert, at the foot of the rugged peaks of the San Jacinto mountains, Palm Springs is the land of endless summers and hot romantic nights. Beneath crystal blue skies and sun drenched palms gay travelers from all over the world lounge about turquoise pools, hike the majestic canyons, shop at world famous stores and outlets, and dance the night away under multi-colored lights.

Palm Springs boasts a large and diverse local gay population as well as a constant stream of out-of-town, out-of-state and international visitors. You will sense the friendly spirit from the moment you arrive. Palm Springs, Cathedral City and the other communities of the Coachella Valley take pride in the warm hospitality extended to everyone, both visitors and residents alike.

Here, more than anywhere else, gay men and women of all ages, from all backgrounds and places, can visit, be together, and be at ease. When you leave this tropical oasis you will find yourself carrying more than the souvenirs of happy times, you will also have new friendships that will last a lifetime.

Getting to Palm Springs

Palm Springs International Airport is fifteen minutes by car from all venues and is served by the following carriers:

  • Alaska
  • Allegiant
  • American
  • Continental
  • Delta
  • Frontier
  • Horizon
  • Sun Country
  • United
  • US Airways
  • Virgin America
  • WestJet

For those arriving from the western US, Alaska often has the most competitive fares. Also, you can often save money by flying into Ontario, the nearest regional airport, which is an hour's drive away. Ontario is served by most of the same major airlines as Palm Springs, plus AeroMexico and Southwest. You may also choose to fly into LAX (Los Angeles), but it is a two-plus hour drive away and weekend traffic from LA to Palm Springs can cause significant delays.

Should I rent a car?

Four of our host resorts are located within a quarter mile of our party venue, allowing you to walk to the party grounds if you so desire. If, however, you wish the freedom to come and go as you please, go out to dinner and see the local sights, you should consider renting a car.

If you fly into Palm Springs, you may be able to get by without a car by taking taxis between the airport and your hotel and catching rides to the party and other parts of the city with other guys at your resort. If you intend on using taxis as your principal means of transportation, you should take into account that cab fare in Palm Springs is relatively expensive compared to that of most major cities. It's amazing how quickly the money you spend on cab rides can overtake the cost of an inexpensive car rental!

If you fly into Ontario or LAX, you should definitely plan on renting a car, as shuttle transportation to Palm Springs from those airports is very expensive.
